chanel has released the limited edition orient extreme collection. this came just in time...my black polish was on it's last drop, the black velvet is a MUST have! nail polish addicts are saying that it may be the best black polish out!! gold lame catches my eye too, but, i think i'm going to practice some restraint and purchase only one. get your clicking fingers ready because, like most limited edition chanel polish collections; they'll be gone before you know it! until next time...stay up and keep it fresh!! xo

karmaloop always fulfills my urbanwear needs. saw these bikinis and had to cop the zombie chopper bikini, just when i thought i was done...i saw the second base bikini. sometimes a girl needs a dose of funky dopeness; these suits fall right in that category. what do you think?  

anastasia all about brows kit

i believe we all have an eyebrow horror story. i have several, ranging from bad waxing to threading gone wrong to bad waxing to razor disaster to tweezer overdose only to end up right back where i started BAD WAXING!! one waxing was so horrific that a small portion of my eyebrow just won't grow back...i really wanted to smack the lady when i got out of the chair. thank goodness for threading (personal threading experience coming soon *wink*). but, i'm still stuck with major thinning on one of my eyebrows, trust me, it's not a good look. 

if you're like me you've tried drawing them in and that's EXACTLY what it looks like!! not a natural look at all, feeling bummed about my eyebrow baldness, i decided to cheer myself up with a stroll into my beauty haven: sephora!! and there my eyebrow saviour was - all about brows by anastasia!! this kit resurrected my eyebrow bald patch. here's what comes in the cute purple zip pouch: tweezers, four different brow stencils, brush/spooley duo, brow gel, tweezers & a highlighting pencil. it also comes with a mini tutorial disc that you can pop into your laptop or disk drive on your desktop. there are 4 different shades of powder; this is a major plus because everyone's hair color isn't the same. if you need to fill in (like me) or if you prefer to "draw" your entire eybrow on, the all about brows kit is a must have! you'll find yourself wondering "where has this been all my life?"

superb face wash: ren mayblossom & blue cypress wash

about 2 years ago, my skin FREAKED out!! i was having severe knock down drag outs with blackheads...they were huge, unsightly and painful. throughout my life i NEVER had skin woes, so this newfound blackhead attack was a major downer. i believe i tried everything, i went to a dermatologist...she gave me some great products but my purse was feeling the pain. totally bummed about blackheads and purchasing expensive products, i went to my beauty haven...sephora, their site has a convenient feature that allows you to customize your search, which cuts down on scrolling through pages and pages of products that don't fit your needs. after countless readings of customer reviews, i decided to try the mayblossom & blue cypress facial wash for combination skin. why you ask.

well, it's paraben, sulfate & petrochemical free + it has a natural form a salicilin (willow bark). my main problem area was the t-zone, this wash is formulated to deal with oil problems in the t-zone area. the blue cypress oil isn't as harsh as tea tree oil, which is great for sensitive skin (my skin). i noticed a difference upon my initial washing and i've been hooked since!! bye-bye blackheads, hello beautiful, clear skin!!

don't let the $32 price tag hinder you from trying it. if you have oily, sensitive combination skin you'll want to try the mayblossom & blue cypress facial wash.  i've introduced it to several friends and they've turned into ren lovers too!   
 

my latest obsession: the white blazer

bijules nail rings

i saw these rings and 2 thoughts came to mind: "wow, these are amazingly unique." & "if i purchased one would it really be worth it?"  the nail ring & pinky nail ring designed by bijules is awesome!! these rings are sure to capture attention because they're like nothing anyone has ever seen.

during many of my numerous observations, whether it be while i'm shopping, reading fashion magazines, perusing other fashion sites or just simple day-to-day encounters i've noticed a surge of spikes, studs, grommets etc. i admired the obscurity of tops, shoes and jackets with those adornments upon my initial introduction; however, i've noticed that i'm losing the attraction to the look...the freshness of the idea has grown stale. everyone and i mean EVERYONE has become cozy with the concept and at times have gone too far (wearing all of it at once). 

i say that only to pose this question: do you think the same will happen with bijules' nail rings??? take questions like that into consideration while shopping for clothes, accessories, shoes...anything. you'll find that you'll make wiser decisions. besides, who wants to have a closet stuffed with items that look dated??  i guess we'll have to wait and see the outcome of those nail rings. until next time...stay up and keep it fresh!! xo
