seeking out new and unique boutiques is one of my many pleasures, when i stumbled upon fab'rik in chapel hill my heart skipped a beat. i browsed around and was astonished by what i saw; luxurious materials, vivid colors and unique designs with reasonable prices. i tend to splurge from time to time, but being stylish and fashion forward doesn't require breaking the bank. fab'rik understands this concept!
pure excitement is the best way to describe how i felt after speaking with kristen. we were going to have a "girly session", viewing new items and indulging in good conversation!
as soon as you walk in a calm, inviting mood surrounds you, perfect vibe for shopping! after my session of trying on some of fab'rik's wonderful clothes, kristen gave me a little background info about the boutique. fab'rik originated in atlanta, and now has locations in iowa, raleigh (cameron village) and just recently chapel hill (opened in february). dana, the owner understands that women want to look glamorous but still feel comfortable; this defines the private label - fab'rik which is also sold in the boutique. check out what you'll experience when you walk through fab'rik's doors...

sass & bide gets the award for best heavy metal!! the bullet paneled leggings, embellished tank & higher ground dress are magnificent works of art. beyonce wore the higher ground dress to the uk mtv awards show and EVERYONE was talking about her sass & bide dress. these eye catching pieces save you from the hassle of looking for jewelry because of the heavy embellishment and intricate design. two thumbs up from me!!
i first caught a glimpse of jules smith when i told you about the chic knuckle lover ring. now they're making themselves irresistible with the tough love and five points knuckle rings. a perfect mix of street and sweet, every chick likes to flirt with the wild side, these rings give you the freewill to do that without having the bulky appeal.
last year the 1st satc2 poster (left) was revealed...now a new one has emerged (right)! i love "carrie", but after viewing the trailer and sensing the summer vibe from it...my vote goes to the new poster! the emilio pucci dress did it for me! yes, the white halston heritage dress is fabulous, but i love the sparkiling sand and fab shoes in the new poster. which one do you like more?
